  • Many photos on this web listing reflect Echota amenities which are available for guest use but are not physically located at the home.

Policies and Rules

  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Pets are not permitted in Echota Rentals.
  • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
  • No events allowed.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents nearby.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • Minimum age: Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
  • Children allowed.

Fees and Payments

  • All Echota homes have an additional amenity fee of $15/day, capped at $70 total per stay. If you are staying more than 5 nights, please reach out to us to manually override this fee.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee (see cancellation policy above).

Parking Information

  • There is a strict limit of two (2) cars parked at the property. Additional vehicles may be parked at the indoor pool/clubhouse just a short drive away. Do not park more than two cars at this home.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Guests of this home have access privileges to the following Echota amenities:
    • Indoor and outdoor swimming pools (one pool is restricted and designated for Echota homeowners)
    • Watauga River trout fishing
    • Stocked fishing pond
    • Club house fitness centers
    • Hiking and biking trails
    • Bocce ball
    • Outdoor sports recreation area
  • The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and cooking basics, including a drip coffee maker, dishwasher, oven, stove, toaster, and ice-maker.
  • High-speed internet is available.
  • There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Towels and bed linens are provided.
  • Hair dryers are provided.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are present.
  • AWD/4WD is required in times of snow or ice. Please plan accordingly.
